Mickelson gets last laugh at the 15th, eyes No. 1 potential
NORTON, Mass. -- A year ago, Phil Mickelson struck an approach shot toward the 15th green that hit the flag stick and ricocheted off the green. Deutsche Bank leaderboard a reflection of entire TOUR season
NORTON, Mass. -- A guy who's seeking redemption. A guy who's hoping to salvage an injury-plagued season. A guy who's on a serious roll. And a young guy who broke through with his first PGA TOUR win earlier this year and now seems to be getting very greedy.
Missing the cut: Who's out of the Playoffs?
The field of 100 players to start the Deutsche Bank Championship will be cut to 70 following the end of this week's event. Since no points are awarded to players who miss the cut this week, any player ranked 71st or worse and who missed the cut will not advance to next week's tournament, the BMW Championship.
